5.0 out of 5 stars magical!
I heard about E.M.cream from my mother. She raved about how incredible this stuff is and being in the beauty industry, I was rather skeptical as I have tried some of the best products on the market.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but...
This product was recommended for me by everyone. Everyone said it will remove your marks and spots. Unfortunately it didn't work for removing pimples at all, it actually increased them. It increased the glow in my face and evened out the tones. It did work for reducing the marks on my face on my right cheek but not completely, and made the left cheek's marks worse. I have...

5.0 out of 5 stars magical!, March 1, 2011
This review is from: Egyptian Magic Skin Cream, 4 oz. (Misc.)
I heard about E.M.cream from my mother. She raved about how incredible this stuff is and being in the beauty industry, I was rather skeptical as I have tried some of the best products on the market.

When you first open the jar, you will notice that the cream looks very similar to Vaseline. However, it behaves very differently. Whereas Vaseline makes you look shiny and sticky, this cream makes you look soft and dewy. You have to remember to rub a small amount in the palm of your hand to heat up the product before applying. I have noticed that my skin looks fresh and rosy, with a kind of dewy glow as if I just woke up from a nap in the tropics! I like that :)

If you read the ingredient list, you will notice that it is all stuff you can pronounce like olive oil, beeswax, honey, propolis and royal jelly. Its all natural! Its been about two weeks now and I was terrified that I would break out from the salve but remarkably, I have not had any breakouts. My makeup tends to stay on longer as well! Another like :)

I should note that my regimen with this product goes like this:
1. cleanse face with clarisonic cleanser and clarisonic mia brush
2. apply intaglio glycolic gel(15%)(it helps with my breakouts and old blemish marks)
3. rub a small amount of egyptian magic into palm of hand and then apply to face, under the eyes and lips.
4. steam clean face/neck once a week with at home steamer/facial machine (this really is so very important for healthy skin)

I feel like I needed to give you the above regimen in order to explain the way that I am personally using the product. I have seen other reviews that state that this cream is not beneficial. However, as a make up artist, I am very conscious about changes in the health of my skin and I can definitely note some serious positive changes with this product over the last 2 weeks of use. I hope this helps you in your journey to find the right products for your beauty regimen.

The cream is really moisturizing but didn't completely heal my dry spots. It provided external moisture. Good product overall-great for cold weather.

It is what it says it is and I have been happy with the purchase. I wish it was organic though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great., December 13, 2010

I first saw this on YouTube from lots of girls saying they really like it and how it works for acne prone skin.

I didn't see much of a difference at first, but after a few days of using it, I thought it worked great.

It also works very well on my brittle and chipped nails. My nails went from dry and brittle to healthy and radiant in a matter of seconds.

One star down is because of the price. I wish it was $20 instead of $30

A friend recommended Egyptian Magic after I had a reaction to sunscreen. The cream was the only product that soothed my irritated skin. It's hard to believe a cream can be this good, but it is.

It increased the glow in my face and evened out the tones. It did work for reducing the marks on my face on my right cheek but not completely, and made the left cheek's marks worse. I have been using it for more than 3 months everyday.

I would say it works for some people but didn't really work for me. I will keep using what I have left but I haven't seen any dramatic change yet.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, But There Are Cheaper Ones, November 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Egyptian Magic Skin Cream, 4 oz. (Misc.)
First of all, I bought this product because of all the great reviews on it.

I bought it specifically for my face, hoping that it would get rid of the scars and acne on my face. My face is naturally very oily, and adding this product to my face wasn't a good idea, mainly because it didn't soak into my face fast enough. The oil on my face just built up later again. (I added it on my face after taking a shower). I've only put it on my face twice, and stopped because I felt like it was going to break out. I might try it again for a week or two to see if really makes a difference, since I already spent $30 on it.

(I have extremely oily face on the "T" zone, and horrible acne marks on the cheeks and sides of the forehead.)

The smell didn't bother me at all really. Some people say is smells great, some can't stand the smell. For me, I could barely smell it, and it smells like... an eraser in my opinion.

Other than that, it works really well as a lip balm, or other dry areas on your body. There are probably cheaper products out there that gives you the same results, maybe even better.

Conclusion. Don't put oily products on already oily areas on your face :P

3.0 out of 5 stars alright, June 11, 2011

i dont really have bad skin, but for my faults, it doesnt make a drastic difference. pimples dont magically go away in 2-3 days. the moisture does lock in for hours though. i recommend this at night because it does give off an oily appearance and feel. quite expensive too.

im updating my review because the words on the jar started to peel. is this happening to anyone else? did i order a fake version?

Had breakout skin and works very well, I have very oily skin so I can only use it at night or else I would be shining like a new diamond. Excellent product!
