4.0 out of 5 stars Great for birthday party!, August 23, 2007

I bought this book in order to use it during my son's Egyptian themed sixth birthday party. It worked just fine - we used one of the masks as a decoration and then punched out the others for the kids to play with. We had other games/crafts for the kids to do -- but the masks appealed to the more creative kids.

One note, we punched out the masks for the kids - they would have probably torn them, had we left them to punch them out.

The pictures of the kids wearing the masks look great!

Nice for a display, but did not hold up well for more than one time of use.

3.0 out of 5 stars Egyptian Masks, January 4, 2010

I was a bit disappointed in these masks. The Nefertiti and Tut ones are great. The others not the most popular and recognizable gods/goddesses/rulers. Ex.: They use a baboon face for Thoth although he is more often shown as an ibis.

If you plan on wearing them, be sure to laminate to make them last as they're made of medium weight cardboard. They are child-sized rather than full adult head sized.
