Kids Love to Write Hieroglyphs!,

Kids love the ology series and this is a way for kids to write "secret" messages in hieroglyphs. This is a great way for kids to have fun with writing hieroglyphs and learning about another writing system.

A perfect gift for fertile minds. Mt grandkids are 9 and 13 and both loved it working on their own and together. It also sparked some wonderful conversations.

This is a companion to the wonderful Emily Sands books about ancient Egypt. The kit contains writing paper and stickers with an Egyptian motif. It would be enjoyed by an elementary school age child who enjoys Egypt and also writing letters. Though packaged quite cleverly, there are no "code-writing" instructions, just 16 sheets of notepaper, 16 envelopes, 6 postcards and a few stickers. It is not a craft activity, just stationery.

The book has tons of little pockets and fold outs...plus lots of facts... all the "secret" pockets and little things really made my nephew love this book.
