This book got me quickly up to speed with Eiffel. I had this book by my side for my first Eiffel programs. Eiffel, the language, doesn't help you much if you want to write your first programs, and you might find Object Oriented Software Construction too heavy. It's not a book you'll look into after you've mastered Eiffel, but it sure helps with the first steps.

If you want to know eiffel and want to pick up it in short time, this is a good book for you. There are not much Eiffel books out in the market but most of them all focus on the OOP concept, like ADT stuff, and are very acadmic.
