In the Body of Christ there is need for a greater manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Wherever I go, I see a tendency for people to be mere spectators, letting someone else move in ministry. I believe that God is saying to the Church today: "Participate!" Jesus came to destroy the works of darkness: sickness, sin, and all that the cankerworm has eaten up. He announced that His ministry included salvation, deliverance and healing (Luke 4:18). He exhorted His disciples to do likewise. "And these signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;...they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover (Mark 16:15-18). As the Bible states, signs should be following those who believe. We must ask ourselves why these signs are not manifested in the Church today by all who claim to be believers.
