A Great Help In Understanding.,
By
This review is from: Eight Kingdoms: And then there was ONE (Paperback)
I found this to be a great help in understanding the book of Matthew and the New Testament. An examination of the book will lead the Bible student to search diligently to see if these things are so. As it well should. "Eight Kingdoms", will provoke many to examine their Bible and their biblical worldview.

Calvinist vs Arminianist views both dismantled,
This review is from: Eight Kingdoms: And then there was ONE (Paperback)
I no longer have to wrestle with why Jesus and Paul SEEMINGLY preached different messages-one of a kingdom based on faith + works and another of salvation through faith alone. This book makes it clear there really is consistency from Genesis to Revelation and the Calvinist vs Arminianist debate is way out in left field. Now I don't have to wrestle with which side is right, but taking off those blinders I can now see clearly the whole picture. If only more people could stop wavering between doctrines made by men and get down to the real truth of the Bible.

This review is being done by my mother and not me, she has recently read the book and greatly enjoyed it. She says :
------" I enjoyed it very much and learned things I never realized before in the Bible. I do not agree with 100% of everything in the book but over all I'm very glad to have received the book as a Christmas gift. I am not the type to take the time to read a lot but I could hardly stop reading this book at times. I kept my Bible beside the book to use to look up the things I was learning in the book. I love learning about prophecy and such things. I had no idea the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven were differant things." |
