This is a very smooth blend of coffee. If you like that type of coffee, you'll love this coffee. If you're expecting to get the taste of Starbucks coffee, you'll be disappointed. It doesn't have that robust bite of good strong coffee, which is my preference.

Eight O'Clock makes a great cup of coffee. I like the columbian, bokar,

and the decaf. I find it hard to find a good decaf coffee, Eight O'Clock is excellent - smooth and favorful. You can find this coffee in waldbaums, and Foodtown supermarkets. I am told that Super Walmart has the large bags for 10 dollars. The price on amazon is entirely too high unless there is absouloutely no where else to buy this locally. I pay 14 dollars for the large bag and stock up when there is a sale.

as other has noted this is a smooth flavorful coffee. i am very impressed. i decided to try it after reading it won best in show for some national taste test. i will try other versions now too. i have been a Gevalia fan for some time and this competes or beats at a better price.

further tasting confirms my comments. i even found that changing the creamer concentration will expose more flavor or smoothness in the coffee without changing the coffee concentration.

I had read earlier that the Colombian Coffee by Eight O' Clock was judged to be the best brand for flavor and taste. I purchased the larger bags as they were a good buy for the price. I feel like a winner twice and have a great cup of coffee each morning, too!!

i actually prefer their "original" blend, but that's just me. consumer reports rated this product EXTREMELY highly, and they were right. bokar blend also good. my new standard. AVOID PRETENTIOUS CRAP. so unpretentious and uncool it's almost pretentious and cool.

Heard a lot about how good this coffee was, so I thought I'd try it. It was a little to mild and smooth for my taste. I prefer a little more boldness.

I love this coffee. Went on line today thinking I could get better pricing than the stores, but found the sale at Meijers to be a better deal. 33 ounce bag on sale right now for $9.99. Folks advertising on line should keep an eye on this so they can price accordingly.

Not impressed a all. Thought I'd try 8 O'Clock when the price of Dunkin went up almost 20%. As others have said, too smooth, and worse yet, it tastes burnt to me. Tried the Original blend and found it to be much more to my liking. Not as smooth, and has a little bite to it.

Right now I am about 1/2 way through a bag of 8 O'Clock Columbian whole bean. This is a good morning coffee. It has a nice aroma while brewing and the filter basket has a nice aroma also when removing from my Bunn coffee maker right after brewing. When partially cooled it has a nice wine like finish. If ground medium fine it has nice chocolate taste. For $4 a bag it is good Joe.

Just opened a new bag of EOC Columbian, it is still consistently very good. Ground real fine the nice winey aftertaste really comes alive. Again 8 O'Clock surprises. Keep it up 8 O'Clock. You rock,
