5.0 out of 5 stars love the Snap Capps!
16 and 24 ounce bottles are too large for my kids, they end up drinking most of it warm, but 12 oz. cans are just the right size. Now I can allow my boys to take canned soda out of the kitchen! They don't make a perfect seal on Mt. Dew products, they leak just a bit, but fit every other soda brand we've tried. What an invention!

3.0 out of 5 stars The idea is great, but they are not sturdy enough
I got these for my kids (adge 5 and 8), but they cannot attach them to the cans - an adult has to do that (you have to push straight down with a great deal of force, so if you're not exactly going straight down, the whole can tips over and spills.) Also, we have only had then about 3 months and already 2 out of the 8 have broken. They seem so be too brittle. I always...

Although photo shows original "Snap Capp" brand and these are decscribed as such, they are a different brand and they don't work. I own a Snap Capp and wanted more because I like it. I could not even get these on a can. Do not buy these "knock-offs." They give Snap Capp a bad name. Snap Capps really work well. These are useless. This brand is "BottleTop."

I always hand wash them, they have never been in the dishwaher, so that is not causeing the problem. I still like them, but I will not buy more. They just don't last as long as they should for almost $3 each.

3.0 out of 5 stars Spill proof, but does not keep soda fresh, December 14, 2009
This review is from: Eight (8) Snap Capp Variety Pack - Snap Capps - Reclosable Can Tops (Turns Almost Any Can into a Bottle!) Save Money Buy Cans over Bottles! Snap Capp - NO MORE Flat Drinks
This cool product does great at turning a soda can into a bottle. However, I was unable to preserve the carbonation in this device. It may be the case that the extra air space in the lid is the culprit rather than a leak, but I am not sure. Also, if you forget to open the soda can first, there is much fun to be had trying to remove this or open the can. This is a novel product but does not function practically to preserve fizz.

I do not like to write poor reviews. But in case i took the chance on buying this only knowing it probably would not work well and it met my expectations. Hopefully this will save someone a few dollars.

On the positive side, I have found that the Beverage Can Resealer product works perfectly and I highly recommend it if you are interested in preserving soda.

1.0 out of 5 stars Buy bottles instead., September 15, 2009

This product works for the first four or five times only, then the plastic is stretched to the point that it no longer seals well enough to hold the fizz in over night. If you start with Pepsi and then switch to Coke, you can no longer use them on Pepsi, because the Coke can is slightly larger and it stretches the top over-sized. Buy bottles instead

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, April 14, 2009

I have had 2 for about 4 months now. I love them. I can't drink an entire can of cola at once. I am able to close it and put it in the fridge over night and it is still fresh.

Sure, I could just buy bottle drinks but I can get cans for far less.
