Guarding Your Heart,

Joyce as usual steps forward as a tool and utensil for God by being "...Diligent to present yourself [herself] approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" - 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV, brackets added). In this book as well as others, Joyce displays her genuine from the heart plain truth speaking writing style that "Goes straight to the heart of believers and doesn't get in the way of unbelievers" - 1 Corinthian 14:22 (MSG). Joyce gets "What we [she] say [s] straight from God and say[s] it as honestly as we [she] can" - 2 Corinthians 2:17 (MSG, brackets added).
