Book Description

**The 2nd book in a New Adult student/teacher romance series**

Chained by unfortunate timing and restricted by society’s expectations, every choice Wilson and Max make becomes pivotal to their future together.

Eager to take their relationship to the next level, Wilson returns to Aspen with Max to celebrate her eighteenth birthday. When an uncontrollable situation leads to a split-second decision, both will be tested like never before. Butterflies will soar, hearts will clash, and Wilson’s relationship with Max will spin into a silken cocoon with choices that seem too impossible to overcome.

Could it be…uncovering the deep ache that lays dormant in their hearts will become the real threat to their forbidden love? Or will the pressures of keeping their relationship a secret be too much to bear?

Editorial Reviews

Review

"Oh my lord, my heart is in pieces right now!! This follow-up to Almost Eighteen was an emotion-filled, heartbreaking narrative of the next phase in Wilson and Max's romance. Watching these two characters that I have grown to love face euphoric highs and shattering lows had me smiling, swooning, and fighting back tears, and it was a beautifully written installment of their journey." Erin (Autumn Reviews)

★★★★★! A gem! A must read! What a wonderfully told love story. Book 1 & 2, awaiting Book 3.

"I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon this series. If you liked Gabriel's (Inferno) and the Honor (Student) Series then this book is for you. Though the Hero, Max Goldstein (22 years/black hair/green eyes) is not dominant and ruthless like Gideon Cross, William Honor etc. he is memorable nevertheless. However, this series should be acknowledged for its Heroine, Wilson Mooney." SueBee (Goodreads)

"OMG!!! Wow! This second book in the Wilson Mooney Series was freakin' awesome!! I couldn't put it down and now I can't wait for the third book!!! Gretchen de la O what have you done?!" Denise (Flirty and Dirty Book Blog)

"A well executed story that is merging from YA into NA. Eighteen at Last showed improved writing, so, I have no doubt, book three, Beyond Eighteen is going to be incredible. Make way for a new talent." Musing Maddie

4.0 out of 5 stars engaging and entertaining November 4, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have been anxiously awaiting this book since Almost Eighteen, so was ecstatic to wake up this morning and see that it was available. I was finished with it by early afternoon and it made for a very enjoyable Sunday! I love the author's writing style as well as the angst she manages to build up throughout the story. I couldn't stop my eyes from skirting down the page ahead of where I was reading at certain points in the story, silently pleading with Wilson "don't do it, please don't do it!". The story moves along swiftly taking place over just a few days. Though I love the characters, even the minor ones are well fleshed out and believable, the story ended very abruptly seeming incomplete to me. I know there is another book coming in the series, but I would have liked a more conclusive ending to this one - thus 4 stars instead of 5. Definitely read the sneak peak of the third book on her website when finished - it helps alleviate some of the disappointment! Overall, an enjoyable read that will keep me coming back for more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wilson Mooney Eighteen at Last! November 21, 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I loved the first book, Wilson Mooney Almost Eighteen. Getting to know the characters and watching love blossom between two people whose love had to be hidden, was exciting and fun. The authors words were well written and easy to follow. Her description of events were easy to imagine and she had a wonderful way of flowing each section into the other. This second book, "Wilson Mooney Eighteen at Last" was a long awaited read. I was happy when it was finally finished. This book gets to the nitty gritty of this story. No more waiting and wondering. Now it's in full swing. Life starts for Max and Wilson as a couple and we get to follow them as they begin a new life together as Wilson being of legal age. The sadness, the fun times, the intimacy they share, it is all a wonderful read! I enjoy the setting that this book takes place in and the characters are well written. It is a steamy, fun romance that will have you wanting more page after page! I recommend this book to anyone with an adventure for romance.

I really liked this second installment of the Wilson Mooney series. I liked the first book, but I like the second even more. I really enjoyed the characters and the story. Due to the massive cliffhanger at the end I am highly anticipating the next in this series.
