18 Minute Dud.,
This review is from: Eighteen Wheeler American Pro-Trucker (Video Game)
Well...I had never played the arcade version of this game and I wasn't sure quite what to expect. It's a shame I didn't know what I was in for."18 Wheeler" is one of those games that doesn't have much to it. It consists of three different modes: Arcade, Score Attack, and Parking. ARCADE: This is the main part of the game. You have four different truckers to choose from and you race on four different stretches of road with them. When you complete all four stretches of the road, then you have won the game. You can unlock only one bonus trucker and there are no new stretches of road to unlock. You just have to keep doing the same ones over and over again. Boring. SCORE ATTACK: Completely pointless mode in which you pick a trucker and drive three laps around four (of course) different areas. The point? To try and smash into bonus cars and earn points. That's it. Yup...boring. PARKING: The only truly challenging mode of the game. There are a total of six (!!) parking challenges. You steer your truck around different obstacles and attempt to park it inside a designated area within the given time limit. The last few levels are quite difficult. Your enjoyment of this mode will certainly depend on how enjoyable you think parking a truck in a video game is. Overall, "18 Wheeler" is a big disappointment. Not surprisingly, since this game was derived from an arcade game, the graphics are extremely mediocre. The gameplay has its fun moments but any experienced game player will be able to beat the racing levels very quickly. It doesn't have any substantial replay value so once you beat the game it will probably just sit around collecting dust. My recommendation? Rent it if you are a truck fanatic. Otherwise, steer clear of this one and don't buy it.

This is a cool game,or at least it could be,but each game is only about 20 seconds long.
