These aren't real clay chips, but they are the next best thing for a very reasonable price. They feel too heavy to be plastic and they stack well.

My primary concern when ordering these poker chips was that they would be the size and weight I anticipated. I was happily relieved, and proceeded to order three more units. These are standard red white and blue plastic poker chips, just like the old-fashioned ones played with by my parents and their friends. They are washable, and thus help to some extent in the avoidance of transmission of disease-causing bacteria or virus particles. They don't call cash money "filthy lucre" for nothing!

The chips are great for the money. I mostly use these in place of paper money in games like Monopoly. The designs are good to look at and the chips themselves are brightly colored and very durable. At first i thought 88 was a bit too few but after I used them I found I had more than enough.

Set is better than I expected. It pays to buy one more item to get over the $25 limit to sve the shipping.
