Like the model of battery and of vegetable cell, this model is perfect in order that the students understand better like they are the cells, which are your components, how they are seen... in end ... the students get excited very much on having seen and to work with this type of toys

I received this model today and was very excited! The model is not as detailed as I would like, and on closer inspection the details that are there are not very high quality. It does not store well as it does not fit quite snugly. The stand isn't steady and therefore not great.
However, the model is an inexpensive way to educate on cell structure. I just wish it was higher quality.

While the fun factor on this product is limited, I think it is worth having because of the educational value. School age children and beyond can hold parts of the cell and put it together to see exactly what it looks like without relying on a microscopic view. The pieces are big enough though not recommended for younger children as they do pose a choking hazard. The set is made with flexible plastic and reminds me of the molds you find in a doctor's office. Great for inspiring learning.
