Book Description

June 24, 2004 Penguin Science S.
Physics is the Segre family business, and Gino's enthusiasm for science is very natural and infectious. This book takes the reader on a surprising tour of the cosmos, starting within the human body and ending at the limits of the universe - using the concept of temperature as a guide.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"'Segre elegantly gives us essential physics nicely laced with anecdote and graced with literary references that tie physics to the wider culture' The Times 'This book develops as rapidly as the universe itself into a study of the big questions of science, using temperature as the path through it all. Mind-expanding reading' Observer; 'Refreshing and rewarding, like listening to a graceful conversation' The New York Times; 'One of the most deft and accessible physics books I've read in a long while...Superb' LA Times"

2.0 out of 5 stars Very little information on the subject, August 22, 2010
This book is using the title as a bait. It actually devotes about two pages to the subject, that is all.

So, if you think this book is what you have been looking for (yes, I know what it is), then it isn't.
