I bought this as a christmas gift for my 7 year old. There are MANY little parts to this and make either a helicopter or an airplane, but only one at a time.
This is a great education experience, as it taught my son how nuts, bolts, and fasteners work. Although the diagram (instructions) are very vague and hard to read, I was able to get it together. It took me about 3 hours, while doing laundry and cooking. The pieces were however very tiny and hard to work with. My son had a hard time holding them to actually doing the physical part. So I did the physical part, while I had him sort out the parts and hand them to me. We plan on disassembling the airplane to make a helicopter. Overall, this is a good toy for boys or girls. It taught my son how to read directions and the consequences if you don't. I really enjoyed it myself. |
