Hi there, This product is fantastic. I have been a card maker for many years, due to the popularity of people using punches, i thought i would give it a try. Believe me i couldn't be happier. These EK punches are great, they look and feel solid and have a decent weight to them. The quality of the cut is crisp and neat every time, I felt fine with my die cutting machine shapes, (which i regularly had to neaten up due to rough edges) This punch never fails me. I would recommend them to any card crafter, It gives your work a professional finish, and is brilliant for layering to make tags. Ideal for light to medium weight card stock. They can also be sharpened easily by cutting foil with them.

Although the other reviwes are correct in that it gives a great cut- the shape is nice- it's easy to use....the lifetime of this product is VERY LIMITED. I am now on my 3rd one just like this. I use it frequently to cut out 100's of scallops and after so many uses- they begin to get harder to squeeze and the springs inside give out. This is not a tool for you if you plan to use it A LOT. It clearly is not made for that. I debate if I should buy another one because it can't hold up.....

I was skeptical about purchasing this because several reviewers had problems with their punch not making a clean cut. I'm glad I went ahead and got this one (2-in scallop circle) because it works great! I've already used it to cut approximately 100 circles and haven't had any trouble at all.
