If you want to replace the CPU on your Mac Pro 2006-2012, this is the tool to get the heat sink assembly off.

Mine arrived slightly bent. It was enough of a bend that I had to bend it back a bit before I could use it. I'm not sure if it was that way from the factory or if damage occurred during shipping.

This item is exactly what you would expect. A long 3mm Allen wrench. I use it to reach some hard to get to screws on my motorcycle. It works wonderfully and since it isn't a high torque application I'm not worried about the strength and integrity of the small, long wrench. Great product and one I couldn't find anywhere locally.

I purchased this exquisite wrench to remove the 4 hex screws that fasten the feedhorn to the LNB of a Hughes KU-band RFU. The metal is very stout and rigid and the shaft is extremely straight. The polymer coating the handle is very comfortable to use and with the bright blue color I can spot it in the depths of my tool box with ease, as long as there is enough light. The polymer coating kind of smelled like Frost King brand packing tape that you can buy in Dollar Tree. I like that smell, it reminds me of the smell of cake mix. These wrenches are hard to find sold seperately. I was kind of Tee'd off (no pun intended) when I couldn't find one in a local store. However I was very pleased with the speed of delivery.

5 stars, because it arrived as described, and does work for the project it was purchased for. We have a hex bolt that is hard to reach with a standard length tool and purchased this for that purpose. The tool arrived intact and seems to be well made, as usual time will tell. Easy grip and functions well for purpose intended. Yes, I would recommend this.

Quick delivery. Handled professionaly. The t handle allen works well. I sugggest magitizing the end so it will hold the fastener on the allen for tight places

Nicely made 3mm long reach hex wrench. If you need a 3mm wrench then you have to get it just for the fact that it is made in the USA.

the 3mm 9" Hex Key was exactly the tool I needed to remove the CPU heat sinks found in a 2006 Mac Pro.

Seems reasonable. I bought it to remove the heatsink on my 2010 Mac Pro, but ended up not needing it. A regular-sized allen key at 3mm was long enough to reach through the heatsink to the bolts. Had the whole thing changed before this arrived. When it did, I threw it in the toolbox for next time.

It arrived bent, as another reviewer noted. Probably just low-quality manufacturing processes. The extreme trueness of the shaft is unlikely to be an issue during use anyway.
