Bought the 2-count Brown plastic refillable K-cup by Ecobrew for a decent price here after searching Amazon thoroughly. Shipped and received quickly. Read one reviewer's comment that they filled them about 2/3 full but I found that a tablespoon of Costco Yuban works just fine and cleans up fairly easily. Put too much coffee in and it can overflow during the brewing process.

To clean, I place an opened plastic grocery bag on the counter and while holding the lid open I sharply rap the opened cup down onto the countertop once or twice. Usually most of the grounds will dump onto the bag. Then it is just a matter of running a stream of water over the bottom of the cup and the top to get any left over grounds out. I use a soft toothbrush to clean the inside of the cup every so often as well. Takes maybe a minute of time to clean. I always use the large cup brew setting on the Keurig.

Costco k-cups in the large boxes even with $8 coupon discount still comes out to 56 cents a cup. Sometimes local grocery stores will have a sale for 12-packs for $5, but still that is about 42 cents a cup.

I forgot to mention that after adding a level tablespoon of coffee to the brown plastic Ecobrew that I hold the cup in the palm of my hand and close the top making sure that it is fully sealed into the bottom portion. Initially it was a bit stiff and required a bit of downward pressure but they seem to completely seal easily after awhile. I usually just rotate and slide my index finger around the top applying a downward pressure while checking for any gaps as you want the o-ring to fully seat. Using a level tablespoon, you will notice upon opening that the grounds complete fill the k-cup after brewing.

Maybe I'm a cheapskate. I prefer to think I'm frugal and fiscally wise. At any rate, the cost of those K-cups for my single cup brewer really adds up, even though I like the coffee. And most K-cups are wasteful from an ecological standpoint, although there is one brand I especially like that is mostly biodegradable.

Anyway, I thought I'd give these a try. Some people seem to love them, some seem to hate them. I'm in the love 'em camp.

When used with regular, grocery store, pre-ground coffee, there is some sludge in the bottom of the cup, just the last swallow or so. I think that might be eliminated with properly ground coffee, but the only grinder I have is one of those little blade grinders, not good for a really consistent grind. I don't use any extra little paper filters.

The coffee, however, brews just fine, and I can use my favorite brands easily. You do have to make sure that there are no grounds on the rim of the cup or it won't shut properly. I use a little more than a standard coffee scoop per cup, enough to fill the k-cup about 3/4s. It can't be completely full because the grounds need room to expand.

I thought cleaning this might be a pain, but the coffee dumps out easily when still wet, and it just takes a quick rinse under running water. Dishwasher safe, too. I bought two of these cups but have only used one because it is easy to clean and ready for immediate reuse.

If you decide to try this reusable cup, you might want to put it in your wish list and watch the offerings for awhile. There are multiple sellers, multiple quantities, and quite a bit of variation in price. If you are frugal as I am, or just a plain cheapskate, you can get a good deal that will pay for itself with just a few cups of coffee.

I had originally bought the stainless steel Ekobrew Refillable K-cup. I love it, but wanted to have a spare or two for company. These are not as sturdy (for obvious reasons) as the stainless steel model but at half the price, it makes them a great deal.

I really can't believe how great these are! I bought a few of them for Christmas one year, when everyone in the family seemed to be using Keurigs all of a sudden. Kept one for ourselves, and we've used it nearly every day, multiple times a day, for 18 months and it's still got life left in it! We've saved SO much money on k-cups (for as much coffee as we drink, it must be well into the hundreds of dollars) and I feel great about the waste prevention too.

The only point of weakness I found was that pressing the lid down right from the bottom doesn't have enough stability, and I've bent the wire mesh on one side. I was terrified I'd ruined it, but it bent back pretty fine and now I've just learned to squeeze from the lid to the little 'arms' on the side instead.
For such an inexpensive product that's lasted this long, I don't know why everyone with a Keurig doesn't have one of these bad boys!

I have had mine for over a year, and they work so much better than the My K cup. But be sure to buy the Eko-Brew brand. The knock offs aren't as good as these. You won't be sorry.

I ordered these because it said it was compatible with the 2.0 Keurig which is the newest one out. It does not fit. I followed instructions, if someone knows what I'm doing wrong please tell me! Otherwise I would like to return these! :(

I can't find my favorite coffee in K-cups so this works great. You will get a little coffee grime in the bottom of your cup because the screen doesn't filter as well as a paper filter or a k-cup.
