A Real Page Turner!,
By Kevin P. Gorman (Fairport, NY United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: El Curador (Paperback)
"El Curador", by renaissance man Woodie Swancutt captures your imagination as it weaves today's media and technology-driven culture with the mystery and enchantment of Messianic lore of long-ago. "El Curador" can only be described as part history, part science fiction; part religion and part spirituality. From his mysterious, attention-grabbing first chapter to his thought-provoking conclusion, Mr. Swancutt compellingly tells the story of "El Curador" with witty, pithy dialogue and a flair for the dramatic. If this book does anything, it challenges the reader to ponder his or her place in the universe, and that of its Creator. I highly recommend this book!

The book is exciting as well as inspirational.,
By Mishelle Quinto (Baltimore, MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: El Curador (Paperback)
The message of El Curador is very timely. It causes you to think. I enjoyed the characters and was especially drawn to the relationship between Jack and Gloria. The descriptive powers of the author, Woodie Swancutt, are outstanding. The scenes in New Mexico, Argentina, Washington D.C., and Italy are very believable. It feels like you are there with the characters. Just the right mix of drama, anticipation, and humor to keep me reading. I thought the dialog was outstanding. The story captures your attention from the first page to the surprise ending. You simply can't put the book down until you have read to the exciting conclusion. |
