I'm a big fan of Rodney Carrington's humor. I've seen his live show in Vegas twice and own all his CD's. I purchased this one not knowing it was all music. While I enjoy his music as a change of pace to his stand-up, a whole album of just music is very disapointing to me. I listen to him for his stand-up first, music a distant second. Just one fan's opinion.

New Rodney Carrington albums are always a joy. Yes, it's true though. This is an album of nothing but songs. No stand up on this record. When I heard that I was prepared to be disappointed and give this album 3 stars (at best). But two things happened...

1. The songs are amazing! Only a couple I didn't care for the rest are comedy gold!

2. I listened to the last track, 'Funny Man.' Not a comedic song and I'm guessing it explains why there isn't any stand up on the record.

Overall, another Carrington classic!

I could not wait to get this product an am enjoying it very much, it was a very good purchase.

This guy could sing country songs all day if he was of a mind to!

Love the new album - for me I prefer his songs, so I think its great. The bonus video is a big plus if you love the series Rodney.

I was so excited to hear about the new cd. My husband and I have seen him in concert several times and have all of his works. He is never boring. I was not at all disappointed to hear that it was all music. I have been hoping he would do that since I first heard him sing. True..It is not twisted humor as most of his jokes but the songs are still funny. Rodney.. I don't at all think you are SOLD OUT. You are expanding your horizons. Good for you!

I haven't been this dissappointed in a long time. Everything that made Rodney is missing from this cd. Guess he decided money was more important than his loyal fans.

I love Rodney I own every one of his albums, but when I heard this one I just couldn't believe that I was listening to the same person. Where is the dirty songs and jokes? after listening to this album, I believe Rodney has finally SOLDOUT.

I have not listened to the cd as of yet.I have listened to other cd's by the artist so I'm sure it will be like others.

I love Rodney Carrington. I've seen him live about 8 times and he is always hilarious. I own all of cd's and they are all hilarious. He is one of the most talented, down to earth, comedians on the planet. His songs are usually o.k. and they complement his stand up act very well, especially live. He is a very good singer. However, this cd just isn't that funny. There is no stand-up comedy and that is where Rodney shines. These aren't even his best songs. You might chuckle at one or two, but that's about it. When I heard there was a new Rodney cd coming out I couldn't wait, but, to say the least, I'm very disappointed.
