About the Author
Edward M. Bounds was trained and apprenticed as an attorney, but instead entered the ministry in his early twenties. In 1859 he was ordained as pastor and served as chaplain in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. Bounds was associate editor of the official Methodist newspaper and The Christian Advocate, but is best known for his numerous books on the subject of prayer, including The Weapon of Prayer. SPANISH BIO: Edward M. Bounds fue entrenado para la profesion de abogado, pero prefirio entrar al ministerio al cumplir sus veinte anos. This is the best prayer book for any pastor, preacher, minister. Absolutely a must-have for any serious minister. I found that the spanish version is better than the original English. My copy and cover is different, but it is the same. I highly recommend it.
