Battlespire is the first game in the Elder Scrolls Legend series lineup. It is more linear than Arena and Daggerfall, and more like Ultima Underworld.
The Battlespire is a training ground to become an Imperial Battlemage. When you enter, the place has been taken over by a Daedra Prince and you must save The Battlespire. Battlespire plays more like a shooter than an RPG; there are no towns, no gold, and you get all your items by finding them (either on the ground or on dead bodies). Your weapons consist of the basic medieval RPG implements. There are people to talk to in The Battlespire. Battlespire only provides around 60 hours of gameplay compared to more than 100 hours in Daggerfall. This game also supports multiplayer, allowing you to battle it out with your friends and other Guilds. |
