5.0 out of 5 stars It's the greatest RPG soundtrack of all time, for the greatest RPG of all time., September 9, 2010

This review is from: Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Audio CD)
Composed by Jeremy Soule and released in 2002 alongside the game itself, the soundtrack to "Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" is in my opinion the greatest RPG soundtrack ever, which is convenient since it was composed for the greatest RPG ever. The soundtrack listing goes something like this.

1. Nerevar Rising (1:54)
2. Peaceful Waters (3:06)
3. Knight's Charge (2:04)
4. Over The Next Hill (3:05)
5. Bright Spears, Dark Blood (2:06)
6. The Road Most Travelled (3:15)
7. Dance of Swords (2:13)
8. Blessing of Vivec (3:16)
9. Ambush! (2:33)
10. Silt Sunrise (3:11)
11. Hunter's Pursuit (2:18)
12. Shed Your Travails (3:13)
13. Stormclouds on the Battlefield (2:11)
14. Caprice (3:28)
15. Darkened Depths (0:51)
16. The Prophecy Fulfilled (1:11)
17. Triumphant (0:14)
18. Introduction (0:59)
19. Fate's Quickening (0:17)

You'll be sure to recognize quickly from the game are "Nerevar Rising", the game's theme song, "Triumphant", which plays at every level-up, "Introduction", which plays during the...introduction, "Fate's Quickening", which plays if you die, and "The Prophecy Fulfilled" which plays when you complete the main storyline at last.

If you enjoyed "Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" I highly recommend buying a copy of this soundtrack. They are rare, but can be found by someone who is determined enough. And be assured that a copy of this soundtrack is well worth whatever price it calls for.
