Measuring 7 x 11-5/8 x 15-1/2 inches, the file box has built-in rails for letter-sized hanging files, front panel pockets to hold a cell phone, calculators, and writing instruments, and an extra-wide back compartment to hold additional files or magazines. Other features include a padded handle and detachable shoulder strap for easy carrying.

I bought one of these for my son to keep his important papers in, since he is frequently on the go. We ended up buying two more: one for my husband, who works in various locations; and one for me, to carry my punches for scrapbooking crops. It would be ideal if it came in other colors or if the case did not slip off of the box so easily, but it is very handy for a variety of things!

I've given my file carrier two years of constant hard use and it has held up very well. The pack-away strap makes it easy to carry for long distances on foot, and the shorter handle makes it convenient for going from room to room. I consider this money well spent.
