A conspiracy novel of the highest degree, March 10, 2002

This review is from: The Elect (Paperback)
Gerald Suster was a man who had unquestionable credentials in the realm of the occult and black magick, as several non-fiction works are testament.
The Elect sees him draw on his knowledge in this field and produce an excellent thriller. Not a long novel but it is one that gathers pace as the reader continues. Basically it involves a top secret group of men who hold the worlds riches and business interests and by subversive means are trying to dominate the world. This group has been in existence for over 200 years and finally sees a chance in the 1980's to bring the orders wish to move to world domination to fruition. A great number of characters and settings are involved in this story, and Mr Suster does a great job in tying them all together.
I can't wait to read another of Gerald Susters novels and the world is a lesser place for his passing.
