Galveston grilling..,

OK - I know that the gulf air is tough on anything, so I decide to go all out on the best. And - at this price - this grille should be tops! After one year it shows signs of rust - and this is before it was even used. I worked hard with my metal polish and turned it back to new (well almost). Then, behold, rust again - almost all over. It did not rust under the Electri Chef special cover, but that just doesn't cover anything but the top of the grille. I wasn't worried - it came with a lifetime warranty. At least that was what I thought and what the warranty said - LIFETIME. I took pictures, sent them to the company - and got a very simple and dismissive NO! No coverage, no replacement, just a NO! I cannot even remember a "We are so sorry". Would I ever go for "the best" - NO WAY! Save your money, buy something else - and tell Electri Chef NO. Don't even fall for their company slogan - "When only the best will do!" Been there - done that!
