I owned one of these back in Ireland for my son. To begin with, this is NOT a Harley-Davidson as the seller is advertising it to be but instead the design is based on a Yamaha Virago 700/750/1100. Those who are familiar with the actual (real) motorcycle will know it was discontinued back in 1999. This is a great representation of that bike and a great overall toy. However, the rear sticks up too high (to accommodate saddle bags I suppose) and the tires themselves are plastic, which is disappointing. The tires should have been rubber of some sort. My son did get a lot of use out of it, especially as I once owned this very model bike myself so it was a father and son thing. I gave the bike a good educational value because I essentially parked it next to my bike and showed my son the similarities, trying to teach him about the various parts of the motorcycle, etc... sounds less interesting than it actually was but my kid loved and I loved it.

Children over six may find it cramped and their weight would drain the battery more quickly. I am generally not a fan of battery operated vehicles because the battery tends to lose charge so quickly. This is no exception. The toy would be perfect if it also came with pedals that enabled children to keep using it (even charge the battery at the same time). Nevertheless, it is a novelty item and when the kids get bored of it, it still is a great show piece for when friends and family come around. Shop around as it can be found for less money - I paid in and around $250.00 for mine which includes shipping and handling.

The way it looks so great but quality very cheap for the price that we paid especially the seat made out of plastic so hard for kids to feel uncomfortable to ride on it.
