This is one CD that needs to be re-released. Fantastic music, ranging from the smooth tunes of Willie Nelson to the classic movie themes that are woven throughout.

I like all the Willie Nelson songs from this soundtrack, but my favorite, "Hands On The Wheel," appears on no other Willie Nelson album. If I'm not mistaken, the same is true for "So You Think You're A Cowboy."

I'd love to see this album released as a CD, or these two lost songs as single downloads. I may have to upgrade my equipment just to get a good copy on CD.

A good friend made a CD copy of an old vinyl LP for me. Disregard the two or 3 insipid "theme" cuts. The rest are Willie's and Waylon's finest recordings, superior to their "greatest hits" albums. Put this on the living room stereo and everyone will start singing along ("...my heroes have always been cowboys..."). It's great 20th-century music, and I don't know where else you will find these pieces so well done.
