An enthusiast of studio pottery, he has over thirty years' experience in the design, development, and promotion of kilns for studio ceramics. This book has a lot of technical description, but not a lot of "how to". Not for the weekend crafter. I thought it would explain a lot more how to actually fire and get the most out of my kiln. I was dissappointed it did not. Too much technical info. I'm not repairing or building a kiln, just wanted to know how to use it.
