The music on this CD is a new genre for the Marco Beltrami. An errieness permeates it.
The movie opens up thought about reincarnation or the ability to interact with the dead.
The CD is the soundtrack from the movie. I prefer this music to previous soundtracks of Marcos BUT beware it is not for everyone, maybe the reason there were only 1 or 2000 issued.
I like it very much. It disappointed me in the fact that the song by Buddy Guy in the movie was not included on the CD. I believe if it had been many, many more cds could have been issued and sold. It is a collectors item probably other than me only musicians own it and they buy it to learn from it, Or others from the area where the movie was shot, Louisiana because of the local flavor.
