5.0 out of 5 stars Techno Arabian
I first heard this music in a middle eastern import shop in Pike Place market - Pharaoh's Treasure. I'm not a huge fan of electronica/techno, but the haunting chant-like elements of this album stood out. I'd highly recommend this unusual album.

1. Sandstorm - Naked Rhythm
2. Serpentine - A.R.A.
3. Daret Alayam - Ro-Je
4. Zeina - Petrol...

1.0 out of 5 stars Club Music
If you are looking for Middle Eastern music with a heavy club beat to it, then you may like this CD. If you are looking for bellydance music, forget about this one. This does not even fall in to the contemporary bellydance music category, strictly club music. Taste varies, but in my opinion, a lot of the music on this CD lost a lot of its beauty by trying to make it more...

5.0 out of 5 stars Arabian Groove Machine, October 2, 2008
This is a great example of finding great music when you look outside the places you normally search. I picked up my copy of this at the Melting Pot in Reno, NV and have probably listened to it a hundred times in the 3 years I have had it. It effectively meshes together the musical trademarks of Arabic sound to a very danceable beat/electronic famework.

I highly recommend this toanybody looking for a different twist to the "normal" selection of dance music out there. I would definitely put this on my list of CDs totake with me on a long trip. For similar music - check out some of my other reviews.

I quite enjoyed this album after hearing a cut used with a video on Google. I listen to the album a lot. Better than listening to my rather-deaf room-mate listen to old "Matlock" episodes...
