This books wastes no time on unrelated topics. If presents the basics, analysis, and applications in all chapters. There are other books that are just primers and others that are strictly analysis. Beginning engineers will find it easy to skip the more technical, and over time, the readers will find themselves following more of the theory. This book makes a great companion to Electrical Power Systems Quality by Dugan, McGranaghan, and Beaty.
