great book for high school students,

This review is from: Electrical Discipline-Specific Review for the FE/EIT Exam (Paperback)
I took the FE exam in April 2000. I used this book to study for the afternoon electrical exam. I felt confident because I understood all the problems in this book. Unfortunately, only 1 or 2 of the 60 problems in the afternoon exam were addressed in this book. Luckily I did well on the morning exam and I passed. This book did not prepare me whatsoever for the exam because it did not cover relevant information such as boolean algebra, FETs, and modulation equations. Spend some money and get a better book.

The sample problems are out of date with the current test.,

The sample problems in this book do not adequatley represent the types of problems in the current FE exam. There is more emphasis on op-amps and transistor circuits than this study guide shows. This book does not adequately cover op-amps and transistors.

OK but not the best!,

This book failed to go deep enough into the theory of electrical engineering for the FE exam. I would recommend the EIT Electrical Review over this book as as good study guide for the exam. This book gave me false hope as to the type of questions going into the exam. (I still passed) The EIT Electrical Review is more theoritical like the exam. Although I feel like the questions in this book were more representative of what today's electrical enginners should be tested on, they are not theoritical enough for a good EIT test review.

Dont buy this book..,
This review is from: Electrical Discipline-Specific Review for the FE/EIT Exam (Paperback)
I bought this book for the Electrical Discipline exam for april 2005 exam. I trully dont recomend to use this book...none of what that book have appears on the FE electric discipline, seems to be outdated or something. Special recomendation from heart..buy better the FE Review Manual: Rapid Preparation for the General Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, from Lindeburg and go for general at the afternoon. Trust me!

This book is very expensive when it compared to the other books including the elctrical FE book by potter. This book content is lack of theory explanation and is only composed of few sample problems.

This book gives a collection of assorted problems from the Electrical/Computer Engineering curriculum. I took and passed the exam this past October (2008) after graduating in May of 2007. I can't honestly say this book helped me a ton, though; I see it as good to look at in 2 scenarios:1. Work the problems FIRST, then you will have some idea as to what you need to extensively review. 2. Work the problems as a sort of mock afternoon exam, a week before your for-real F.E. exam. It will get you in that test-taking mindset. Unfortunately, there are quite a few errors I noticed in the book, and even without the errors, this book is by no means a "good" review of 4 years of ECE studies. I can't say this book is 100% worthless, but I hope you still have your textbooks.
