Reasonably Good, but not Great,

Electricity for the Trades
The book is pretty good, especially by today's lowered standards for electrical textbooks. It is fairly well organized but still has the usual abundance of extraneous stuff & filler. A real disappointment is the associated Productivity CD that has answers to review questions, etc. It has an "EZ Test Generator" that I was unable to get to work. It kept giving me an error message of "1 file left to load". Reloading the application failed to fix the problem. Regarding the accompanying CD, it has a lot of MS Word files that indicate that whoever wrote them has pretty limited MS Word skills. The writer doesn't seem to know about formatting tools such as hanging indents, the increase indent function, proper use of bulleting and numbering, etc.
