poor construction,
This review is from: Electrix Illumination 7274-BK Halogen desk lamp, 38 reach swing-arm, black (Office Product)
I recommend against the purchase of this desk lamp unless it is redesigned.
Both lamps had loose connections of the lamp head and the swing arm upon delivery. I assumed that this was inherent in the design. However after roughly two weeks of daily use during office hours, one of the lamp heads slumped off of it's connection to the swing arm. The lamps arrived in good condition, so there was no appearent damage during delivery. It looked to me like the heat of the bulb (a 35w bulb included with the lamp upon delivery), caused the connection between the lamp head and the swing arm to melt allowing the lamp head to fall off. I returned it to Amazon for a full refund. I Thank everyone at Amazon for the prompt refund turnaround. |
