4.0 out of 5 stars Recognize it for what it is-- a tribute..., June 6, 2007

This review is from: Electro Acoustic Tribute to Tool (Audio CD)
Good tribute record, with a VERY different spin on some classic tool songs... My favorite is Stinkfist and Cold & Ugly... Theres a couple little annoyances with a couple songs vocally, but, HONESTLY, thats just because I know the tool songs so well--just remember, if you're buying this record to listen to tool, then youre getting the wrong thing, but if you're looking for tool songs interpretted in a different fashion, then keep your mind open and get this record. cheers!

5.0 out of 5 stars Never thought a tribute band could ever do justice, June 11, 2011
This review is from: Electro Acoustic Tribute to Tool (Audio CD)
This album is a very different take on the older tool songs. The style I very much enjoy, and I find extremely relaxing and trance-like. I'm surprised less people know about it, it really is an awesome cd. It's different enough from tool's style, to make it still amazing in its own way. Def listen to it on youtube first to make sure it fits your style.
