First off, the sounds that come from this pedal are really good....5 stars for the sound quality and build quality. It is built like a tank.

Minus 1/2 star for the very loud switch....when you press the button it makes a very loud click sound which can be annoying in quiet settings. I have read that you can replace the switch with a quieter one, but why doesn't it just come with a quieter one to begin with? Or how about offering an option of a "quiet switch" for those who play in smaller venues/quieter environments?

Minus 1/2 star for requiring a separate power adapter. If you use a pedal board it can be a hassle to have many different power adapters with wires and such coming out of the board.....this one requires its own power and can't be powered by the standard multi-adapters used with pedal boards.

Overall I would recommend this pedal - it sounds great, is built great, and provides a wide variety of sound processing all in one pedal....very nice.

I like this pedal. It replaced my tremolo and phaser pedals, which were separate units. It also adds auto-wah and vibrato to my effect rack. I use The Worm with expression pedal as well which gives me regular wah-wah pedal, and as my expression pedal being very light this also saves up on weight footprint of my pedalboard.

My favorite mode is Vibrato.

Cons:
- requires unusual power supply
- in tremolo mode, noticeable amount of hiss is added when range is set low, and when range is set high there is some treble loss.

I absolutely love this pedal! I bought it because I wanted a good tremolo pedal. I had considered getting the EHX Stereo Pulsar and realized I could get wah, vibrato and a phaser in this pedal for about $15 more. Unlike many other multi-effects pedals, EHX does not skimp on sound or quality in the Worm. This pedal has quickly become one of the favorites on my pedal board! Here is a quick tip... turn it to the wah setting, turn the Range knob to about 10 o'clock, and the Rate to around 8 o'clock. You will get a nice swirling sound reminiscent of Hendrix or Pearl Jam. You can never go wrong with EHX!
