I took a bit of a chance buying this when we renovated our kitchen--there are hardly any on-line reviews, but I loved the look of the 36 inch professional range and really wanted dual fuel--I love to cook on gas and heard baking was way better in electric. I found this item cheaper than the GE 36" dual fuel, and thousands less than the viking, wolf, even kitchenaid. I do not regret it at all-- I LOVE THIS RANGE! It is gorgeous and easy to use and easy to clean. The only drawback is no clock or timer, but I used my $2000 savings and got a $10 timer!

We purchased this new at a local brick and mortar store. The unit arrived with one of the burners not sealed to the top glass. No big deal, we called service and scheduled a visit 2 weeks out. Then we started using the oven and the problems started pouring in. The oven makes an extremely loud buzzing fan noise when it runs ... Our cheap GE oven that was 10 years old was whisper quiet. OK, so service company says they will look at it when they arrive. Next surprise was the front panel, it got so hot that you would burn your hand if you touched it. The top of the door was reaching oven temps. I called Electrolux and they insisted this was normal. I told them that I need to return this to the store because we have little kids at home. Long story short, they convinced me to add this to the list on the service call.

After cancellations and missing parts and an incompetent service tech .... it ended up taking about 2 months to get the unit repaired. FYI ... the oven door was getting so hot because there is a separate dedicated fan motor to cool the door and it was not working at all. Still, everything was "fixed" but we had a god awful loud buzzing that would randomly start from our oven. Electrolux said this is normal. Luckily I convinced the store manager where we bought the oven to put pressure on Electrolux to replace the unit and after many threats (this was a big store), Electrolux finally agreed to replace the unit.

The new unit arrived and I knew better then to let the delivery guy leave until I do a 100% inspection. The new unit had three missing screws to attach the oven door. There was also a big chip in the porcelain. While the delivery guys where there I had them take the screws off the old door and fix the new one.

I have had this range for 4 years, bought the extended warranty from Electrolux because the first year there were three repairs on same item, so they replaced it. Since then, I have had a repair nearly every 6 months, which causes me to be out of cooking for a month between initial call and final repair.. I've had to replace all the knobs ( plastic) when the numbers and functions melted away... Hundreds, seven knobs at 60 .00.
The enamel is flaking on the bottom and they won't replace, shelves fell off racks... I have been in contact with Electrolux to replace this range. The rep said they would contact me the next business day, that was three weeks ago. I have tried contacting the same rep , and no response. More concerning is my serial number was in the lot of recalls for carbon monoxide problems... NO RESPONSE!!!!! Do not buy This range there is no customer service. Biggest remodeling mistake ever
