Electrolux has finally replaced my wall oven. I have to say that when the previous unit was actually functional, it was wonderful. Very fast, near-perfect results on souffles, puff pastry, gougeres, Thanksgiving turkey, hearth bread, enriched bread, pizza. A few problems with the cooking results-- the Thanksgiving turkey bent the oven rack, causing it to magically roll towards me in subsequent uses. This was both dangerous and annoying. Heat in the oven was fairly even, but the right side definitely heated up more, necessitating a turn of whatever food I was cooking mid-bake.

Problem: my sensor and control panel continued to fail. I would receive the F5 and F10 error messages approximately 6 weeks after the sensor/ control panel combo were replaced. The only way of shutting off the oven (and stopping the annoying error-beep) was to cut off power from the breaker box. I was advised by Electrolux that using self clean or operating the oven at a very high temperature for pizza or bread can cause the sensor to fail. This was obviously very frustrating.

I'm hoping my new replacement unit is not a lemon like the first. If you can get a functional oven, you will get good results.

Very glad we selected Electrolux, the quality is notch and looks great installed, the blue interior sets it off and the ball bearing glide racks are so nice and have openings for grabing with an oven mit, this feature was the main reason we initally considered Electrolux. Touch pad is really cool, lots of other unique features we are looking forward to using like the Dehydrateor. If considerating other ovens, the Electrolux is well worth the extra investment in the long run, buy quality.

I have the 27" version of this oven, otherwise it's identical so I'm reviewing this one as well. Here's my experience; wouldn't recommend Electrolux to anybody. Had this oven only since Sept 09. Bought because of supposed good quality; willing to pay a little more than standard. We don't use it that often but do bake at least 1-2 month. From the very beginning, I thought it baked items too quickly, often drying them out when they should have had several minutes more before being done. Didn't matter if I used convection or not; same issue. I simply adjusted cooking times down and that helped a bit. Last few times, I noticed muffins that had burnt bottoms but only on one side of the tin; that shouldn't be. I inspected the oven and saw what looked like an "S" shaped puddle on the bottom left hand side of my oven lining. Made a mental note to clean it up when it cooled down but it disappeared. So I turned the oven on empty and saw that it reappeared. Disappeared when it was cool. Called repair/service to come out. The lining is practically burnt through and warped because the element shorted out and is malfunctioning. It was probably something that occurred during manufacturing. Electrolux will not offer me more than 10% discount on a new liner. I still have to pay for the new element which costs about the same as the liner. With 2.5 estimated hours of labor, it will total $800. So this was a waste of money; we paid over $2100 with tax and installation 3 years ago and now another $800. So it cost us $706 per year for the life of the oven. The worst part is how Electrolux positions itself as a quality oven and it's cheaply made and won't last even 5 years. If you HAVE to buy it, get the extended warranty and make sure it covers the element and liner. The repair man told me that not only was this issue a fire hazard, it was an electrocution hazard as well. Kelly Ripa owes me a refund. Bad product, stay away.

Overall a great product that looks and works great... until you run the self-cleaning cycle. We've tried it twice & both times it fried the thermostat. The last repair tech. said that it's a known problem, and we should just clean it normally. $2000 for a self-cleaning oven that won't self clean without breaking? What's the problem with this picture?

We have had this oven for less than 5 years and the elements in the bottom of the oven have burnt out 3 times. Once because I heated it to 450 to bake a pizza on a stone, once for no reason at all, and this time we dared to use the self clean mode and not only did it fry the elements, it cracked the floor of the oven! Electrolux's reply was to offer us a small rebate to buy another one of their ovens! What a piece of junk! If you have your heart set on this brand, I'd recommend you look elsewhere or get the extended extra warranty, you'll be needing it.

The moment I saw this oven on the showroom floor I knew it was the one. (Everything else in our remodel changed over time, but with this oven, I went with my first love.) And I love, love, love it still. We used it to bake a 22-lb. turkey at Thanksgiving and it was fabulous! I can't wait to try out all the features once the holidays are behind us. We bought the black model and it is beautiful. Our color accent is blue, so the blue interior and the blue clock light fit in perfectly. One small thing to mention is the digital clock light on the front is always on and at night is quite bright. As our oven is situated sideways and slightly back from the sitting and dining areas, this is not a problem, but if it were, say, within eye range while you were watching TV I think it could be a bit bothersome. Maybe there's a feature to lessen the brightness, but I don't think so.

I have had my oven for almost three years. I have been wanting to write a review, but my middle name is procrastination. Bottom line is, this is the best oven that I have ever used or purchased. It cooks, and bakes perfectly. The only suggestion I have is not to use the highest cleaning mode. Other then that, this oven is a jewel. You will not be disappointed with your purchase.

Took two people to safely lift but otherwise very easy to install if you know anything about 220 volt connections. I'm not sure why other people who've reviewed this seem to have problems but I think some people may assume they know how it works and don't bother to read the user manual. Replaced a 20+ year old Whirlpool electric wall oven with this one and the difference is amazing. Old one had just 2 dials (temperature and time) while this one is all touch controls with more options than I'll ever use. The rapid preheat is amazing (preheats to 400 in about 2 minutes - old oven took about 20 minutes to preheat and then burned everything). Temperature is dead-on. Love the Keep Warm feature. Haven't used the temperature probe yet but I'm betting I'll love that, too. Beats reaching into a hot oven to poke a thermometer into the meat. Best feature has got to be the ball bearing racks. Probably will never use the self-clean feature since I just clean it manually right away if anything drips or spatters. Get this oven now while it's still made in America, before Electrolux moves their manufacturing to Mexico.

We are retired and remodeling our kitchen . As always you get ugly problems popping up
when you DIY. Local stores didn't have features or size or price. Shopping online we found
Electrolux web site. HAPPY, HAPPY,HAPPY!
Wow! The convection is a wonderful feature. We love the blue ,oven pan, the design of the front
of the stove . It's easy self cleaning,. We love the musical tone which lets you know when the tempature
is reached and chimes when our food is done. Love it,love it, love it. Thank you, Mary D.

I love it. A little more complicated than i'd like but i'm sure i'll figure it out as i use it more. the fan noise isn't bad but does stay on a while to cool down after the oven is off. this doesn't bother me at all. over all really happy with the oven.
