On it's own merits, irrespective of price (currently $350), this is a good vacuum. It's relatively easy to push around on hardwood floors, is light enough to carry quickly, has a decent LED lighting system, and does not leave a residual dusty smell after you're done. It picks up pretty much everything on hardwood floors (which is the main flooring throughout my house) from food bits, shredded napkin pieces, garage dirt, small dried up bugs, etc... It's easy to handle for stairs. The articulated head is excellent for maneuverability makes going under the dining room table and chairs easy. It's also easy to dump the contents and the filter can be washed in water if you wish. The charge lasts a good while. In fact, that's pretty much the whole marketing premise behind this vacuum, a Lithium Ion battery which will:
1. Deliver more power 25V vs 12V or 18V on lower models.
2. Last longer per charge so you can do most if not all of your vacuuming at once
3. Maintain a charge even if not plugged in.
As any tool lover will tell you, you'd much rather have Li batts than the old NiCad ones that die quickly and don't hold a charge after awhile. The battery level indicator is very prominent on the front and is a good feature. Incidentally, the Ultrapower was able to quickly stop and shutdown when confronted with my carpet tassels, which my carpet appreciated. However...

I am an owner of an Electrolux Ergorapido Ultra Green 2-in-1 Stick Vac that I got for $60 on a Lightning Deal in 2012. That vacuum gets light use, and still works like new. It's only 12V, probably a NiCad battery. I charged both vacuums overnight and put them to a side by side test to see which one I'd recommend.

I bought this cordless wonder to have in addition to my regular vacuum. I have a cat that tracks litter EVERYWHERE in our 2-story house, including the stairs. My vacuum is a corded model and works wonderfully, but is a pain to constantly get out, plug in, move the plug from room to room, lift on to each and every stair, etc. This Electrolux cordless is extremely light, wonderfully powerful and works great on stairs! In short, I was hesitant to be a first buyer of such a new product, but when I saw that it had 25V I was sold. This little wonder is excellent and picks up everything the FIRST TIME OVER! I absolutely love it and highly recommend it for those who want powerful, light and cordless vacuum for daily use. The bonus of having lights is awesome as well.

UPDATE: I have used this machine daily for several weeks now and the only further comments I have is that the filter MUST be emptied and cleaned frequently for optimal use. I discovered emptying the filter after each use is best. The suction is so strong that it really does fill up the small filter rather quickly. Also, head swivels easily but just does NOT clean nooks, corners and against the wall like a regular vacuum.

2nd UPDATE: Lights stopped working after barely a month. Hmmmm, so far that is the ONLY problem I have had.

This is a nice easy machine to use that works great!
I have used various stick vacs and this one beats them all .
It charges easily and fast and holds the charge for a long time.
I have a 3400 sq foot house with thick and thin carpet and ceramic tile
I have used this on every surface in the house with ease.
This is so easy to use my 9 year old like to use it in her room.
Even our kitchen and breakfast nook has the indoor outdoor kind of carpet
and I love using this machine in that space since I can not mop my floors.

This save so much time daily to clean the kitchen floors and not have to lug out the big beast.
Also this machine is the only one i have been able to use on the rugs under our dining room table.
In fact i can use this one half on the carpet and half on the rug under the table and neither one catches in it.
It goes from one surface to another without any issues at all.
I am able to easily do the entire downstairs and upstairs hall including stairs with one charge.
the slim design fits inside the hall closet out of sight once I am done using it.
Not something I can do with my bigger machines and most of all I LOVE no cords getting in my way!
One thing i wish it held more so I did not have to clean it so much but then again it probably is not meant to be used as your main machine
which is how it is being used in this house more than any of the other 4 that we have.
This actually works better than my big dirt devil with how much it picks up.

It is so light and easy to carry upstairs and is a breeze to clean the stairs with it.
It does swivel so can get under things the other machines I have can't.

Bottom line: While the Electrolux has some novel features and an impressive run time, it fails to beat the Hoover Linx where it counts: cleaning ability. Given the price, I don't think the Electrolux is a good value.

Full review: I've been using a Hoover Linx for a couple of years and have been very pleased with it. The lithium battery power gives it almost as much cleaning ability as a corded vac. The big catch with the Linx, however, is run time - you're lucky to get 10 minutes from a single charge. So, when Electrolux came out with this model which boasts of a much longer run time, it got my attention.

The overall look and feel of the Electrolux is very similar to their other non-lithium powered cordless models. And that's a good thing - I have a 12v Electrolux Ergorapido cordless stick vac (with a detachable hand vac) that I got at Sam's Club at a bargain price, and have been pretty pleased with it.

This model builds on their past ones with the same solid build quality, ease of maneuverability, and convenience features such as a "quick clean" filter (using a built-in plunger system that's quite inventive) and a self-cleaning roller bar (more on that later). The filters are washable as well, keeping operating costs down. The charger cradle can be self-standing or attached to the wall, again aiding in overall convenience.

The star of the show is the lithium battery. It provides the usual lithium benefits of more power, but unlike the Linx, provides that power for a LOT longer (up to 4 times as long if you use it in low power mode). But the only reason to have a vac is for it to pick up dirt. And along those lines, the Electrolux is not a champ.
