Although the name says Opal.. the account is very much mine. I'm her son and this is the story.

My mom had asked me, "Son, I'm out of vacuum bags.. and I'm not sure they make them anymore.. Can you help find some for me?"

Naturally, I said- "Yeah, no problem."

I 'Googled' her required vacuum bags, and Amazon had the exact fit for her rather ancient vaccum. On my Blackberry, within minutes of her asking the question- I was buying them, right there in her living room.

When they arrived, she was very happy with them- and lately when she vacuums, she calls and says, "Those bags you got me, still work great son!"

Thanks Amazon! I'll definately be back!

There were several listings for these bags. One was for the Envirocare brand, the other said, "from Electrolux". I figured I'd pay an extra dollar or two more for original equipment, from the mfr. Got the bags today, and lo and behold, Envirocare technologies.

I'm a little bit pissed off. I would have paid the lower amount if I'd known they'd send Envirocare anyway. So I paid extra for no apparent reason.

It just so happened that my Mom told me she loved these vacuum bags on my visit this week to her house. I purchased the bags for her because the Electrolux dealer wanted a very large price for their bags. I don't know why she likes them but she does and we will buy them again when she runs out. She is 90 years old and still vacuums and changes the bags herself. I think that is a good recommendation for these bags.
