This book is a GREAT aide to have for the dreaded F&E exam. Best advice, get this book well in advanced prior to your exam and start studying. Plus, there are NCLEX style questions included that are VERY helpful too.I did VERY well on this exam and I give this study guide a thumbs up.

All of these book are absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend them, their vango notes [...] and watching the disc that comes with the book. Truly a wonderful tool to help to make it through nursing school. Two thumbs up!

Everyone knows that F&E/ Acid Base Balance is one of the hardest chapters in Nursing School. This book helped me pass the test. If you are in Nursing School you need this book. It is very helpful for the test.

I was a bit biased towards this book because my Fluid and Electrolytes professor was one of the writers/editors. It seemed like a no-brainer that she would pull test questions from the text. This almost should have been required for the course, not just recommended, as it really helps you put together info from your textbook. My only piece of advice-don't forget about the disk in the back of the book. The questions are more difficult, and probably better represent an NCLEX test.

A well composed compromise between summary outline and full textbook. Well written, clear, and concise. However, I found multiple discrepancies between the end of chapter quiz questions and their respective answer + rationales. Sometimes, they were just wrong (I have verified with RNs and instructor), and at other times, the rationales were rather nonsensical. About 1 in 10 questions could benefit from additional editing. Otherwise, a nice, valuable addition to my permanent nursing study and NCLEX review collection.

I took the fluid and electrolytes exam without this book and got a 70. Passed, but barely (not my style). Studied this for dreaded Acid Base and got an 88%!!! I went from a C to a B in one test!!! I definitely recommend this book for nursing students, it lays it out easy for you and can really understand it!

GET IT! You will not waste your money!!

Any nursing student knows that F&E's and acid-bases are the most difficult concepts to learn. I just wish I would have purchased this book before that exam..... This book breaks everything down in a way that is really easy to understand. After purchasing this book, I have bought the Med-Surg, Pharm, and Peds, and comprehensive NCLEX books to help me study for my classes. The practice questions are so beneficial and also will help you study for NCLEX. BUY THIS BOOK!!

great resource and learning tool, recommend it to anyone who struggles with fluids and electrolytes. Did not take long to be delivered, greatly appreciated!

I have so many different nursing books to help with understanding and these reviews and rationales I have found to be so helpful because they are like the cliff notes, or clinical companions but are on specific topics and are well laid out, easy to understand and include enough information to give you the whole picture.

I am a LPN currently in school for my RN and my teacher stressed from the begining how difficult fluid and electrolytes would be so I invested in this book to help.This book was great! I made an 80 on my test when the class average was a 66! Very clear outline formats and pre and post test questions were a big help!
