This book is a valuable reference for persons working on problems relating to electromagnetic or acoustical scattering. The book contains little fluff, instead getting right to the point. For cases of the more complicated shapes covered in the book, (I worked with the prolate spheroid), the reader is refered to other works to educate themselves in the relevant functions.
