5.0 out of 5 stars Yes! Finally! September 30, 2012

I've been a huge Sims fan for 12 years. Ever since I got my Kindle Fire (Dec. '11) I have been waiting for EA to release this for the Fire--better yet the app is free!
It's the same Sims I've loved year after year. It runs great and the gameplay is nice.

Pros:
--nice graphics
--smooth play
--free
--Sims 3 gameplay

Cons;
--real time action (cannot speed up either)
--money can get short

If you're a Sims fan, I highly recommend this. I absolutely love it. <3

5.0 out of 5 stars Bad reviews aren't true November 28, 2012

The game is free, unless you're REALLY impatient. Sims can get jobs, you can collect from houses, and you can plant gardens. Even the "lifestyle points," which are a different type of money, are super easy to earn by completing the goals. Most of which are simple things such as "have a snack" or "buy new carpet". The party boat allows you to connect to facebook, and if you have certain amounts of friends that also play, you can collect lifestyle points and simoleans daily. I'm not sure what the cap is on how many Sims you can have, but I have 11 so far. If two Sims move in and get married (which changes the Sim who said "yes"'s last name) you can have a baby. Children have three stages of ageing, baby, toddler, and pre-teen. All have different actions and their own set of items. I love the game, and play it way too much. The Halloween update was great. Only complaint is the game gets pretty laggy if more then 6 or 7 Sims are at the same house, but that's completely acceptable. I say get the game! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect January 5, 2013

this game really gives you the qualities of the classic Sims game, with minimal ads interrupting game play. I love that you earn life points easily and as long as you like the slow progress, with all actions in Real time, you will like this. my only complaint is you cant assign multiple tasks.

4.0 out of 5 stars It IS as free as it seems October 10, 2012

While it is a large download, it's worth it for such a good game. The one and only complaint I have is that everything takes a long time to do. It's ideal for someone who doesn't want to be in game constantly. The big experience and money-makers take 6 to 10 hours to complete. It's also a little frustrating that you need an Internet connection to play, even if you're not doing anything online.

The "most helpful critical review" user who claims it isn't free didn't play long enough to understand the game. One of the first things the game has you do is a task to make more money, and Sims CAN get jobs. I've been playing two weeks now, have a built-up town with 9 sims, a small fortune in simoleons and lifepoints, and I haven't spent a cent of real money. It isn't the best game for someone short on patience, I guess, but if you take half an hour to learn how to actually play before getting fed up and quitting, it's a fun game and a great time killer.

This is by far the best free game app out there. There are no goals that require you to spend money but you can buy premium items if you choose. I love it.
