Although these games are quite dated, if you haven't played any of these games, this top ten pack is worth the buy. Strategy, simulation, and sports these are some of the best games to hit the market in the 90's. A couple of things to mention, U.S. Navy Fighters is an old DOS game and is a big hassle to get to work on the recent Win ME platform, but judging by the graphics you probably wouldn't want to waste your time playing it anyways. Besides, you have so many other games to play. Unless you own an ATI Rage Pro graphics card, then you can forget about playing NASCAR Revolution which strangely excludes compatibility with that card. Also, Sim Copter is a pretty poor game at most, but then again, I was never much of a Sim-Anything fan. If you want to maximize the potential of this game, you'll need to have Sim City 2000, which is not included with this pack. Okay, on to the good stuff. Need For Speed III is a fun sports car racing game in which you can either be the outlaw exotic car driver or the law enforcement agent that will lay down the law. Dune 2000 & Red Alert are both based off the popular Command & Conquer series, Warning:You will lose sleep playing these games! If you are in the healthcare profession, theme Hospital is a fun and challenging game where you have to set up and direct your own hospital, but watch out for the epidemics and the bottom line! Gettysburg wraps up the strategy series and is made by Sid Meier (the genius behind Civilization), a must have for Civil War buffs. Madden 2000 is an excellent hard-hitting arcade-style NFL action video game. Although, it might be good to note that EA Sports revamped the gaming and graphics engine and is greatly improved in the new Madden 2001 Football. Lastly, Tiger Woods 99, only if you like golf. Playing TG 99 became a little more enjoyable after I set the graphics to the max with extra fog! Then again, I don't play golf in real life so I probably wouldn't appreciate it as much. If you're looking for major hardware over-heating, graphics crunching, memory draining games, look elsewhere. If you're looking for some classic well-made games that will get you through your work shift, look no further. Overall, a nice combo pack at a nice price.

Ten games for a really cheap price. And some of them are really addictive. First the really good ones: Tiger Woods 99 is a great golf game. I don't play golf myself, but the ease of learning this game and my constant quest to improve made it a lot of fun. i like the little commentaries they make as well. Theme Hospital kept me glued at the monitor for hours. Here you are presented with the task of managing various hospitals. Patients come in with the most outrages diseases and you come up with the must hilarious ways of curing them Gettysburg! A Sid Meier game and that should say it all, especially if you are a civil war buff. Command and Conquer: Red Alert really needs no explanation, and Dune 2000 is similar to it. The rest of the games really were not that exciting for me, and some I even had trouble getting started on my computer.

The games came lose in white paper CD sleeves inside a display box. I'd prefer that the box be smaller so that the CDs weren't just flopping around inside but they arrived in good shape so I can't really complain. You get what is advertised so if you want two or more of these games I'd say it's definitely a worth while purchase.
