If you are a fan of the series Doctor Who, this is the toy for you. You know we all want to build a Tardis in our homes or backyards, or paint our existing garden sheds blue and pretend its our Tardis. This is a very nice scale of the Tardis, it lights up and makes all the proper sounds.

I actually have it sitting on my mantle above our big screen tv right in our living room and all my nerdy friends think its brilliant!

If you are considering this item, then let me push you over the edge. Get it. It even has a insert inside it to make it look like it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside (or maybe it really is) and it has control panel sounds when you open the door. The inside is lit and shines through the windows.

Join me in the Tardis, Doctor!

I was fortunate to get this for a decent price before this model was completely replaced by the new Tardis (for 11th Doctor). I had seen a video review of this one, and I had to have it! It is exactly what I was looking for. The sounds are great (especially for dematerialization), and the lights inside and out are a nice touch. Like the other reviewer mentioned, I also need to get the David Tennant Doctor figure to complete it.

Great for Dr. Who fans. Nice quality, and all the lights and sounds are fun. Just watch out for the fact that this shouldn't be confused with the same Tardis that comes with the Doctor action figure (shown in the first two pics). I've settled for having the little cardboard cut-out sticking his head out of the doors until I get one.

I'm delighted to finally have my own tiny Tardis, though!
