Electronic Formulas, Symbols & Circuits
I forgot most of the formulas I learned years ago in Tech School. This is a super handy reference and I would recommend it to all Service technicians or hobbyists that want the most out of their designs.

Too basic. A book of electronic formulas needs more than just Ohm's law...
I bought this thinking it would be a comprehensive list of electronic formulas. A one stop place to quickly find formulas that I occasionally need but don't use often enough to have thoroughly memorized. While basic Ohm's law, decibels and such are covered, it's not nearly as comprehensive as the Amateur Extra license manual put out by the ARRL. Good for beginners.

This is another of several books from Forrest M. Mims III . Always great, always correct information on what ever he publishes. You cannot go wrong, and it is a Great buy.

This book is a great little book for reference when working with circuits. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who needs an easy reference to some very basic circuits.

I can basically recommend ANY book by Forrest Mims, at least all of them that i've ever seen. Enough said. If you're into electronics, get this (any any other Mims book).

The title of this book leads one to expect a wide-ranging summary of important electronic formulas, equations, and other useful tidbits. Given the reputation Mims has garnered with some of my colleagues who revered his works from their learning years, I bought it and was disappointed. There's just not enough content or modern material to warrant the purchase.

I have purchased many of Mr. Mimm's books since 1980. This book serves the purpose well. I do feel his 'Engineer's Mini Notebooks' are bit overpriced. I feel they should sell for about $ 10.00.

If you are looking for a book with diagrams and explanations to them, you might want to look elsewhere. The diagrams are pretty good the whole book on graph paper will give you a headache. Its a nice book to have on hand whenever you are reading through schematics and need a quick reference.
