After seeing me and his older brother play Guitar Hero my two year old nephew wanted a guitar of his own... so Amazon to the rescue. I found this guitar, had it shipped to his house and my brother and his wife hated me for the next three months because he never put it down. Great toy with good quality, high replay value for those young ones who can't get enough of Guitar Hero.

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my son (5 years old), I know he will love it. The guitar is very real looking and it comes in 3 different colors: Bright Blue, Fire Red, and Spooky Black. Nicely made plastic guitar for the price - quick ship and arrival.

When you strick the strings it will alternate between 4 different guitar rhythms. The guitar has an amplifer and the sound projection is LOUD. I have not taken it out of the box to see if there is a volume control - I don't believe there is from the diagram on the box. It does have an off/on switch.

Oh! Well, as long as he has fun we'll live with the LOUD sounds. Besides, their only kids once.

This guitar is very fun for my son, but it is very, very loud! He loves it, but I don't. I really think that it is dangerously loud and I wouldn't purchase it again.

It is hard for me to imagine that the other reviews for this item are for the same product. I ordered this guitar for my niece and it's awful. The guitar and box looked beaten up when they arrived. The weight of the guitar feels cheap and the sound is horrific; zero musicality in the extraordinarily loud "power chords" it plays and the strings don't even faintly resemble a musical instrument. Just crummy fishing line strung to give the illusion of guitar strings without even the ability to attempt to tune them. I have two boys who love a lot of noise and even they covered their ears and asked me to take the batteries out. Needless to say, I won't be giving this to my niece.

Shipped quickly but was broken when received. Emailed the vendor and he immediately put a new one out and shipped it directly to my grandson so that he would have it on time for his birthday. Very satisfied with speed and friendliness of correcting the situation
