Editorial Reviews

Caustic Records presents Electronic Manifesto, a double CD compilation that tries to recover the spirit of the Electro-Industrial revolution forged at the end of 80's and throughout the 90's. This was a period in which the interaction between the artist and the analog and digital machines of musical creation, creativity, as well as complex production reached their maximum level.

The Electronic Manifesto has been given life by the collaboration between Spain's Pedro Peñas y Robles (more famously known as HIV+) and France's DJ Dogme (resident at AxessCode) and it is homage to all the pioneers of the synths and drum-machines; invoking again the spirit of the electro-industrial music masters for this project.

Many feel that electronic music has lately been losing its originality, its creativity and its dark soul. As a reply to the current uneventful electro scene, rife with the same rhythms, the same presets of the same synths and lyrics without substance, Caustic brings forth their manifest for change and the masses!
