WRONG TITLE ! WRONG CONTENT!, August 20, 2006
This review is from: Electronic Portable Instruments: Design and Applications (Hardcover)
This book is not what's you expecting for.. with its deceitful title.
It contains a lot of description for electronic sensors but nothing about any design in an electronic project, just a kind of sensors listing description.
Also it contains a compilation of global information about µC, µP, DSP, etc but nothing usable, only generalities like in a first level electronic course(ex. different type of resistors! You'll also find info about different kind of capacitors...).
Redundant information like "Manufacturers and Dealers" exhaustively listed in the book, two times the same pictures (in B/W and in color!) in the examples chapter where you can also find commercial descriptions of some products.
Certainly not "For designers, engineers, and scientists" like you can see in the book info, probably for basic newbies in electronic.
I realy wasted my money with this book.
